With the impeachment sham seemingly drawing to a close, Democrats and "real" reporters (but we repeat ourselves) everywhere are reeling.
During CBS News' live coverage of the impeachment trial on Thursday, anchor Norah O'Donnell said she envisioned a "nightmare" for the left, suggesting impeachment would have little effect on the 2020 election.
O'Donnell said, "We put up (on-screen) the three senators there who could vote with Republicans for acquittal. That would allow the White House to say, this was a bipartisan acquittal. Is that the worst nightmare for Democrats?"
