Twitter continues its back and forth with the president, as the platform has now censored the official White House account, hours after censoring President Donald Trump's account.

Earlier on Friday morning, Twitter censored a tweet from the president condemning the riots in Minneapolis, claiming it "glorifies violence."

"These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen." Trump wrote. "Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!"

Despite the president's clear condemnation of the violence taking place in Minneapolis, Twitter claims the phrase "when the looting starts, the shooting starts" was the part that supposedly violated its policy, according to Breitbart News.

Now, the social media platform has censored a tweet from the official White House Twitter account, which commented on another tweet from the president quoting his previous tweet on the riots.

However, the White House hit back by calling out Twitter's "fact-checkers" and pointing out the platform's hypocrisy for allowing Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, to tweet out a message encouraging terroristic acts against Israel.
