Twitter is now testing out a new way to flag what it deems "misinformation" on the site.
According to NBC News, the social media giant is experimenting with labeling so-called "lies and misinformation" posted by politicians with brightly colored icons. A demo of this system was leaked to NBC News and is just one possible avenue the company might explore in its effort to combat "misinformation."
Is this just the latest veiled attempt at censorship by Twitter?
