The U.S. economy got some much-needed good news this week as it slowly rebounds from the devastating effects of the coronavirus.
Breitbart News reports that the unemployment rate fell to 13.3 percent and the U.S. workforce added 2.5 million jobs in the month of May as states began easing restrictions on businesses.
The unemployment rate was at a record 14.7 percent after the month of April, the highest recorded since 1948. The economy also saw more than 20 million jobs disappear in April.
And despite experts predicting the unemployment rate would hit close to 20 percent and 8 million more jobs would be lost, the slow reopening of America has turned things around.
