Another big win for Ralph Northam.
New data on coronavirus testing shows that Virginia is one of the worst states in the U.S. when it comes to getting tested for the disease.
According to a study from the Kaiser Family Foundation, Virginia ranks 49th in the country for tests administered per 1,000 people and is ranked 14th in the share of tests positive for COVID-19. In other words, Virginia is in the top 15 for number of positive cases, but nearly last in tests administered.
Rhode Island, New York and Massachusetts are ranked first, second and third with the most test given.
