18-year-old charged with second degree murder in deaths of two 17-year-olds

Chesterfield County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - An 18-year-old Chesterfield man has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder in connection to the shooting deaths of two 17-year-old boys.

The two 17-year-olds were found dead Friday at about 11:41 p.m. at the Creekpointe Apartments in Chesterfield County.

On Saturday, June 21, 18-year-old Richard E. Lamb was taken into custody and remains in jail without bond. Police said Lamb knew the teenage victims, but it’s not clear yet what led to the shooting.

The victims’ identities are being withheld due to their age.
