Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - AAA is warning about the potential for an increase in traffic accidents Monday, the first workday since the change to daylight saving time. AAA Spokesman Morgan Dean says they have not kept track of the the numbers recently because of Covid-19, but in the past, they have found a jump in accidents following the time change.
Dean says the issues causing accidents range from tired drivers to sunlight being in different locations from where drivers are used to it being. He reminds people to get enough sleep and to not drive drowsy.
We move back to standard time November 4th.
