Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico's Registrar says an error has lead to as many as 1,400 mail-in absentee voters to receive the wrong ballots. Some voters in the 56th House District instead received ballots for the 68th House District. The areas impacted are in and around Short Pump.
Registrar Mark Coakley says he regrets the error. Impacted voters are being contacted via mail. About 200 of the wrong ballots were completed and returned. Coakley says those people should contact the registrar's office.
Election Day is November 2nd.
