Chester, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - L.C. Bird High School's principal says additional police officers are at the high school Wednesday following "social media posts." Principal Adrienne Blanton sent an email home to parents Wednesday morning. She says police are continuing to investigate.
Blanton is asking parents to please talk to their kids about inappropriate messaging. She says it creates a huge disruption to the learning environment.
L.C. Bird has had multiple guns found on campus this year. There have been no shooting or injuries.
