Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - With a State of Emergency now in place, Attorney General Mark Herring is looking for any reports of price gouging tied to the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline. Several gas stations continue to be without fuel, as the pipeline is the major source for gas in Virginia.

Herring wants any reports forwarded to his office. Not all price increases qualify as gouging, so recent jumps in gas prices likely would not count. The price needs to be "grossly" different from the price prior to the State of Emergency.

The protections are in place for a month after the emergency is declared.
