Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Dominion Energy says that, as of Monday, all 195,000 power outages related to Hurricane Ian have been resolved. By the time the storm blew in to Virginia this past weekend, it had been demoted from a category 4 hurricane to even less than a tropical storm. Still, its heavy rains and gusty winds caused damage, especially over Friday night.
The weaker state of the storm meant relatively light damage, which Dominion said made the issues easier to address. Any current outages, they say, are unrelated to Hurricane Ian.
