Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - State Senator Amanda Chase (R-Chesterfield) is hinting even harder that she is going to run a write-in campaign for the State Senate. Chase lost the GOP primary to former State Senator Glenn Sturtevant (R-Bon Air) in June.

In a Facebook post, Chase says voters are concerned about electronic voting records, and that if you write in the candidate, those must be hand counted. When asked by text if that meant she had decided on a write-in campaign, Chase replied "It's a hint towards one. LOL." Chase is currently on vacation and said previously that she'd announce a decision afterwards.

Chase has raised concerns about the early voting certification in her primary loss but her legal team has said a lawsuit is not viable. The Elections Department has also said there is no legal remedy because what Chase is alleging is a violation of best practices, not law.
