Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police say an armed robbery took place at a 7-Eleven near the VCU campus on Thursday, July 11 at approximately 1:51 a.m.
In a press release, officials said a male suspect entered the 7-Eleven store located at 1101 West Main Street with a handgun and demanded money. Police said the suspect got away on foot.
Both VCU Police and Richmond Police have increased presence in the area following the incident.
