Richmond, Va. (NewsradioWRVA.com) - Overnight Saturday into Sunday, there's a very small probability of some mixed precipitation happening in the metro Richmond area. NBC 12 meteorologist Andrew Freiden says, at this point, it won't even be an issue with driving. The possibility of this happening is "barely there", according to Freiden.

The weekend is supposed to be wet both Saturday and Sunday and Freiden says the mixed precipitation possibility is coming late Saturday. After that threat goes away, Sunday is just going to be a raw, wet and chilly day. Any sort of potential for accumulating snow is along the I-81 corridor in Western Virginia.

The weather warms up again on Monday.
