Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - 9PM UPDATE: Richmond Police now say two people, an 18-year old and a 36-year old, have died following Tuesday afternoon's shooting outside the Huguenot High School graduation at the Altria Theater. Police have a 19-year old in custody.

Acting Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards says the 18-year old was at the Altria Theater for graduation. The 19-year old is expected to be charged with second degree murder. Edwards says "this should have been a safe space." It is believed the suspect knew one of the victims.

Richmond Public Schools are closed on Wednesday because of the shooting. Police and city officials expect to release more information then. Thomas Jefferson High School's graduation, which was supposed to take place Tuesday night, was postponed. All other graduations have been postponed until next week.
