Chesterfield Police Investigate Death of VSU Student

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police continue to investigate the death of a female student whose body was discovered in the University Apartments at Ettrick.

At about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, Chesterfield Police were called to the 4000 block of J. Mitchell Jones Drive after Virginia State University campus police discovered the body of a female, identified as Anisa M. Sistare, 21, of the 5100 block of Hopkins Road in Chesterfield, in an apartment. Sistare's body, which did not have any signs of trauma, wa transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
