Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The City of Richmond has announced that it will offer residents a grace period for payments on taxes, tickets, and bills based on the recent closures.
City officials said Sunday that they are aware of the fact that last week’s combination of winter weather and a water crisis may have impacted residents’ ability to “pay in a timely fashion through no fault of their own.”
In light of recent events, the city is giving tax and ratepayers more time to pay any bills that are due in January.
