Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Even though the University of Virginia and (eventually) the College of William and Mary will be requiring Covid vaccines for their students and staff, Virginia's Community College System will not be following that route. VCCS Spokesman Jeff Kraus says doing so is not practical for how their system works.
Kraus says there is no living on campus and no residential halls in the system. VCCS also doesn't have a student health system. Kraus also points out that some students are quickly on and off campus as their achieve the credentials they are looking for.
There are 23 schools in the system.
