Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Virginia Department of Corrections is detailing its plans for Halloween. The agency is tasked with supervising sex offenders not currently behind bars.
The department says all sex offenders under supervision have been given a curfew for Halloween night, and there will be random checks by probation and parole. They have also been told not to hand out candy nor decorate their houses. Fall Festivals for children are also off-limts.
