Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Central Virginia Transportation Authority (CVTA) has announced that it is accepting public comment on a number of proposed infrastructure projects throughout the region.
Projects being considered include bike, pedestrian, bridge and highway infrastructure in Richmond, as well as Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, Goochland, Powhatan and New Kent counties. A full list of proposed projects can be viewed here.
The CVTA said the total funding cost of the projects is an estimated $151.5 million.
Residents of Central Virginia will have until 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, to provide feedback, which can be submitted online at PlanRVA's website, or via email at information@cvtava.org.
Comments can also be submitted at the public hearing in-person at 9 a.m. Feb. 23 at PlanRVA, located at 424 Hull St Suite 300 in Richmond.
