Fairfax, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The two main candidates for Governor met for the final time Tuesday night, in a debate in which the most unusual moment was a third-party candidate interrupting the proceedings. Princess Blanding shouted at the stage following a round of questions, leading her to be escorted from the debate hall. Blanding in a Richmond activist, on the ballot, and sister of Macus-David Peters, who was shot and killed by Richmond Police after he charged an officer during a mental health crisis.

Outside the interruption, Terry McAuliffe and Glenn Youngkin sparred over issues like Covid mandates, abortion, right to work, and teaching race. Youngkin, during a question on election integrity, admitted the 2020 election was "certifiably fair." McAuliffe says there are greater issues Virginia faces than election integrity, such as jobs and Covid.

This was the second and final debate. Election Day is five weeks from the debate. Early voting has already begun
