Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - First Lady Dr. Jill Biden will be in Richmond on Friday. She is attending a vaccination clinic in the Richmond-Henrico Health District to encourage vaccinations for kids five and under.
Kids in that age group only received approval for vaccinations a few weeks ago. At the first clinic in Henrico last week, the district gave out 20 more shots than it was planning to. They also asked parents to set up appointments rather than do walk-ins until the demand died down.
The age group is the last group to get approval for Covid vaccines.
