Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Kevin Olds, a former assistant principal at Huguenot High School who's now the principal at Wythe High School, said that he had come to know Jackson well during his time at Huguenot.
He described the young man as “bubbly,” calling him “the life of the party.” Olds said that Jackson struggled initially with the structure of high school, but that he persevered with the support of his family and his community. He also called him a "bright young man" "full of life, laughter, and all things fun."
In light of the shooting, Richmond Public Shools will not reopen for the last few days of the school year.
