Lakeside, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Central Virginia school kids experienced delays getting home, and having their afternoon activities cancelled, after two funnel clouds made their way through the area. The storms, which appeared not to feature any touchdowns, took a path from western Chesterfield into western Henrico and Hanover.

There were no reports of any damage, according NBC12 Forecaster Nick Russo. Russo says they did hear of some branches being knocked down in Nottaway County, but they were not attached to the funnel cloud storms.

Schools had students shelter in place during the warning. Buses ended up being an hour behind in Chesterfield.
