Goochland, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Powhatan, Henrico, Goochland, and even some Richmond firefighters had to battle a large fire at a home under construction in eastern Goochland County. The fire, on Dover Branch Lane, was in an area of the county where there are no hydrants, so water had to be trucked in.
The home was over 8,000 square feet. There were no injuries to firefighters or anyone else. The home was not yet occupied.
The fire, when first attacked, involved 70% of the home.
