Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - For the first time in two years, graduations are returning to the Siegel Center at VCU. Chesterfield Schools will start their ceremonies on Monday. Chesterfield started school two weeks before the other districts, so they will be holding their graduations earlier than the other districts.

VCU Police are asking drivers to avoid the area around the Siegel Center on graduation days. For those going to graduation, you are asked to follow the instructions given to you by your school. People are asked not to arrive more than an hour early because graduations will be running back-to-back-to-back.

VCU says the road work currently going on along Broad Street will not be near the Siegel Center during graduations. Chesterfield's graduations will go through Wednesday, then there is a break until EPCI and New Kent go on June 10th.
