Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Virginians are seeing less haze and smoke today, and conditions are expected to steadily improve over the weekend.
The air quality is still at a "moderate" level, but people without major respiratory issues should be fine spending time outdoors today. NBC12 meteorologist Rachel Meyers says we'll see smoke and haze-free skies on Sunday as a result of shifting winds ushering out the Canadian wildfire smoke.
Meteorologists are tracking an approaching cold front that could bring rain and storms on Monday.
