Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico County Public Schools have voted in favor of increasing the costs of both breakfast and lunches at schools in the district.
The price of lunch is increasing by a dime to $3, and the price of breakfasts will go up by a quarter to $1.75. This is the first time lunch prices have gone up since 2019, and the first time breakfast prices have increased in nearly a decade.
The changes will go into effect when the new school year begins in August.
