Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Schools have announced the Class of 2021 will have their graduations held at Richmond Raceway this year. The decision, which allows for the following of Covid regulations, is an outgrowth of last year's event, where graduates got to drive on the track after their large graduations were cancelled because of Covid.
Students will be allowed four tickets, and families will sit in pods in the Grandstand. The students will graduate on the infield. The district has a rain date built into the schedule, and says some time adjustments may become necessary based on forecasts.
