Henrico County is holding community meetings to discuss this year's bond referendum with residents and answer questions about the impending decision. This year's referendum will include four categories — schools, parks & recreation, storm drainage, and public safety — each to be voted on individually. If passed, this referendum would provide up to $511.4 million for county infrastructure.
Henrico County's last bond referendum was held in 2016, where it passed by a margin of over 75%. Developments resulting from 2016's referendum include the new Tucker and Highland Springs High Schools and the Fairfield and Varina area libraries.
The next of these meetings will be held on at 6 PM on September 6 in the Henrico Western Government Center. Further information can be found here.
