Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Police say they are asking anyone who may have pictures or videos around the start of Thursday's fatal fire to please contact them. Two people were killed in the fire on Elkridge Lane Thursday morning.
Police and Fire Marshalls are not saying the fire is criminal at this point, but say the investigation is continuing. Four people lived in the home. In addition to the two killed, one was hospitalized and a fourth was located out of state.
Gail Katrina Thompson, 61, of Henrico County, was pronounced deceased on scene. The next of kin for the second fatality has not yet been notified, and the name has not been released. Henrico Police also say the Medical Examiner is working on a cause of death.
The fire broke out around 2:21 Thursday morning, at the home off of Mechanicsville Turnpike.
