Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico County Police have now identified the man killed in a Thursday evening crash along West Broad Street.
The victim has been identified as 55 year-old Eugene Robert Coleman Junior of Henrico County.
Officers responded to the intersection of West Broad Street and Sundance Way at around 9:54 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 for a report of a two-vehicle crash. A man, now identified as Eugene Robert Coleman, was found dead in one of the vehicles involved.
Investigators say they believe Coleman was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Broad Street from a shopping center into the eastbound lanes. However, a vehicle traveling west crashed into Coleman's vehicle. Detectives believe speed was a factor in the crash and charges could be coming.
