Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - At around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Henrico Police were called to a reported assaulted at Henrico Jail West. When officers arrived, they learned that a Henrico County Sheriff’s Deputy had been stabbed in the head area by an inmate.
The deputy was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Henrico County Sheriff’s Office is currently handling the investigation into the incident.
