Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Hurricane Debby made landfall Monday morning in northern Florida, bringing flooding to much of the western part of the state.
Debby is also expected to impact parts of South Carolina and Southeast Georgia. Depending on the track, we could get heavy rain from the remnants of Debby later this week.
According to our partners at 8News, today and tomorrow will be much drier than the days in the latter part of the week. We will see mostly sunny to partly sunny skies today with highs in the low to mid 90s. Factoring in the humidity, both today and tomorrow will feel near 100.
For the rest of the week, local conditions will be dependent on the evolution of Debby and the path it takes.
As Debby approaches and brings more clouds to the area, 8News meteorologists say we will start to see relief from the heat. Temperatures will be in the low- to- mid 80s starting Wednesday through next Monday.
