Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Mayor Levar Stoney met on Tuesday with representatives from several local nonprofits impacted by the collapse of the Enrichmond foundation last summer.

In addition to a proposed allotment of 250,000 dollars for the 80 organizations impacted -- a fund that Stoney is calling the "Richmond Outdoor and Prosperity Fund" -- the Mayor mentioned that Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares is opening his own investigation. He also mentioned that the FBI may be considering getting involved.

Becky Lakin, the director of one of the nonprofits present, praised the city for taking action even though Enrichmond was a private organization.
