Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to $1.1 billion for the drawing Tuesday night after there was no grand prize winner on Friday. The cash option is now up to just below $526 million.
A total of 72,413 Mega Millions tickets bought in Virginia won prizes in the Friday, March 22, drawing. That included one ticket that won $3 million and three tickets that each won $10,000.
In addition, the Powerball jackpot has now grown to 800 million with the next drawing tonight. The lump sum payout would be just under $385 million.
