Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police say a 29-year old mother faces a murder charge, after her nine-month old died October 2nd. Breonna Green, 29, was charged after a grand jury indictment.
Police say they initially went to the home on Hickory Street, around Gilpin Court, in the early morning hours on October 2nd. There, they found the nine-month old girl unresponsive in a bedroom. The infant later died at the hospital.
Police did not offer a cause of death. They said the Medical Examiner will determine it. They did say the infant had obvious trauma.
