Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police have not yet announced any arrests tied to Thursday night's gunfire near Armstrong High School. The gunfire lead to the evacuation of the Armstrong-Patrick Henry High School football game, and pictures from the scene show players laying on the ground, trying to avoid any potential bullets.
Police say they searched the immediate and surrounding area and found no evidence of shots fired at the stadium. They believe the gunfire came from the Fairfield Court Complex next door. There were no injuries.
Henrico and State police helped with the response. The Henrico County line is just down the street, and the school borders I-64.
