Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police say they are no longer pursuing any more suspects in the April 27th mass shooting in South Richmond that killed a 30-year old mother and her infant daughter. On Thursday, officers arrested their final suspect, Kevon Bynum, in the city. His twin brother, Kavon, was arrested a day earlier during a traffic stop which Police say Kavon allegedly ran away from.
Three other suspects were arrested shortly after the shootings. All five people who were hit by gunfire were innocent bystanders. Officers are not ready to say what may have lead to the gunplay.
The funerals for the mother and daughter are scheduled for this weekend.
