Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Chesterfield County Police have identified a man who drowned in the Swift Creek Reservoir.
Earlier this week, police were called to assist rescue personnel near the 5700 block of Promontory Pointe Road after being informed that an adult male had gone under the water and not resurfaced. Police searched the water for the body for three days using boat-based sonar technology.
On Tuesday at around 8 p.m., a boater spotted the victim's body and called authorities. Police have identified the victim as 71-year-old McDaniel Rucker IV, of Midlothian, Va.
