Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday, Aug. 20 at the intersection of Emporia Street and Hillbrook Avenue. The incident occurred at around 9 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they heard several gunshots and saw a group of males running from a yard and fleeing in vehicles. Police say they found one man with gunshot wounds. The man, who was later identified as Earl Young Jr., was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Responding officers were also approached a man who said he had been shot as well. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

"We're just looking for help from the community regarding this shooting," says Karina Bolster, Henrico Police. "So really any tips that anyone may have or even may have captured on their video surveillance or Ring cameras, please go ahead and contact Henrico Police."
