Police Pursuit Ends With Crash on Arthur Ashe

One Suspect Apprehended, Police Still Searching for Passenger

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- A police pursuit Monday afternoon ended with a crash on Arthur Ashe Boulevard, one suspect apprehended, and another fleeing on foot.

After Henrico Police identified a potentially stolen vehicle in the Lakeside area, they initiated a traffic stop, which the vehicle fled. After a brief chase, the suspect vehicle was involved in a minor crash on Arthur Ashe.

There were no injuries in the incident, but the suspected driver -- a juvenile -- was detained on the scene. Charges are now pending. Another suspect, the vehicle's passenger, fled on foot. Henrico Police are still searching for this second suspect, and as of now have no physical description.
