
Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Polls have now closed around Virginia. You can access election night results here.
Unlike last year, absentee and early voting results will be reported differently. Last year, for the Presidential race, they were reported as one block. Tonight, there will be three blocks: early voting, absentee by mail voting, and then "late" absentee votes, which are absentee votes mailed by Election Day and received by Friday at noon.
Election night results are UNOFFICIAL. Official results do not occur until certification on November 15th. The losing candidate then can, if the margin is within one percent, request a recount. The Commonwealth only pays for a recount if the margin is between zero and a half-percent. Listen to our coverage below:
