Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing ended without a winner, meaning the $760 million jackpot could still be won in Saturday night’s drawing.
The jackpot is the sixth-largest prize in the game’s history. If the winner chooses the one-time cash payout option, they would be taking home $382.5 million before taxes.
To be eligible for Saturday’s drawing at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Virginia residents must buy a ticket by 9:59 p.m.
Powerball tickets are $2 per play. For an extra $1, players can buy the Power Play option that doubles the size of the prize.
