Richmond, Va. (Newradiowrva.com) - Virginia's vaccine cooridinator, Dr. Danny Avula, says in a few weeks, the Virginia Department of Health should have a QR code available for people to use to prove their vaccination status. Avula says more and more busiesses are requiring the code, and he wants Virginians to have access. He says VDH will not dictate that it be used.

Avula says currently, Virginians can download a .pdf of their vaccine record to use along with their card. He expects industries to increase their requests for vaccines as they become fully approved.

Avula also says the daily pace of vaccination has picked up, which he attributes to concerns over the Delta variant.
