Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Central Virginia is expected to see rain for the next seven straight days, according to NBC12.

After on-and-off rain on Tuesday, Wednesday is expected to bring steady, consistent rainfall. Then, from Thursday through Monday, scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected to continue.

Despite the three to six inches of expected rainfall, however, tropical storm Bret is not currently expected to effect Virginia, even if it develops into a hurricane.
