Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed that a 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 10:46 p.m. on Monday, April 8.
The minor earthquake was felt by residents in and near the Glen Allen area of Henrico County, near the Mechanicsville area of Hanover County, and near Richmond. The epicenter was located 3 miles North of Glen Allen.
There are no reports of any damage.
