
Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A new low-cost airlines says it plans to offer flights out of Richmond International Airport in July. Breeze Airways plans to offer flights to Charleston, New Orleans, and Tampa. Richmond is one of 16 airports in the airline's inaugural network.
Flights are also being offere out of Norfolk. Breeze also plans an operations center in Hampton Roads that will add over 100 jobs to the economy.
Breeze's founder has ties to Jet Blue, one of the most successful low cost airlines.
