Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Canadian wildfire smoke has returned to Central Virginia, hanging in the air and putting the Richmond area in a code orange until midnight on Tuesday.
NBC12 is recommending that people limit time outside, especially people at high risk for respiratory issue, including young children and seniors. Everyone is advised to be on alert today, however, as some sensors are reportedly pushing into code red.
After midnight, a cold front is expected to arrive in Central Virginia and clear out the smoke somewhat.
