Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Richmond-Henrico Health District will be, starting next Monday, moving their Community Vaccine Center to the Arthur Ashe Community Center. The change is due to scheduling conflicts with the current site at Richmond Raceway.
The schedule of vaccinations will remain the same. Vaccinations will be given out Monday through Saturday, 10a until 7:30pm. Spokeswoman Cat Long says they have good relations with Richmond Schools, which controls the site, and are glad to be able to use it.
The change also comes as 5 to 11 year olds have become eligible to receive the vaccine.
